Greetings!! My name is Oluwanifemi Ngozi Ekemode. I am a proud student of Air Force Academy High School

The ozone layer is an incredibly crucial part of Earth's atmosphere that plays a vital role in effectively shielding us from the dangerous and powerful ultraviolet rays emitted by the sun. Without the protective presence of our ozone layer, our skin would likely suffer significant and potentially severe damage, and we could potentially face an array of serious health conditions, including debilitating skin infections.

As we are well aware, human activities have caused considerable and ongoing harm to our beloved planet, and this widespread destruction has direct implications for our overall well-being as a species. Various harmful substances, such as common aerosol sprays, chlorine, bromine, methyl compounds, and many notorious oxides, contribute significantly to this pressing issue. Each of these man-made materials poses a substantial threat to the delicate balance of our environment and thus affects the way we profoundly live our daily lives.

My proposed solution to counter this growing and alarming problem is the development of an innovative satellite specifically designed to emit a beneficial gas that would contribute to the healing and strengthening of our ozone layer. With the collaboration of highly skilled and professional engineers, I am genuinely optimistic that this project could indeed become a tangible reality and could serve as a significant step toward effectively resolving our atmospheric challenges.
